Mission Statement

The Indianapolis Peace and Justice Center is a coordinating and communication network among area groups and individuals working for peace and social justice. The Center is committed to becoming a multicultural organization by including members of diverse cultural and social groups as full participants, especially in decisions that shape the organization and define its mission in the community and by giving support to local efforts to eliminate forms of social oppression. We invite all to join us who seek to achieve peace through nonviolent action, through community education, through working for a just society, or through offering constructive alternatives to the violence that touches all of our lives.
